Can Keto approved foods help ADD.I want to eat this, no I want to eat that, no this no that, no I cant have that. ADD is a common condition in many children and adults and many of us don't realize we even have it. I myself suffer from a form of ADD and I never even realized it until I took a close look at myself.

 Do you find yourself losing concentration on a project you are working on. Do you have trouble deciding what to do or go from project to project without finishing what you started. I did a little experiment with myself and I found that foods we eat and our activities play a big role in how we process things.

If you have a diet high in sugar you are more likely to lose concentration and forget things. High fructose corn syrup is a product made from corn starch and is added to processed foods to sweeten them. Since the introduction of HFCS into the western diet the obesity rate has tripled. Not only that but diabetes, heart disease, ADD, tooth decay and many other modern day diseases have veered their ugly heads into society with devastating results.

 HFCS is cheap to make and the food companies claim that it is not harmful. The medical community warns of the health effects of added sugars into our foods, but in the end its all about the mighty dollar and not the health of consumers. If added sugars are not harmful then why are people gaining weight at an alarming rate and walking around in a fog. That may be why Zombies are gaining popularity these days because people can relate to them just by eating a modern day diet.

 My experiment with a change of diet and some light physical proved to be quite beneficial. My Wife first started on the Keto diet and lost 30 lbs in 4 months. I had watch her and noticed she had more confidence in herself and seemed to be more mentally sharper. So I decided to give the keto diet a try myself and noticed within a couple of weeks how much more energy I had and how much clearer my mental capacity was.

 I did read up on the psychology of dieting and learned that your mind plays an important role in weight loss and how you feel. I highly suggest you get mentally prepared for the Keto diet. Not only will you lose the weight and keep it of but you will also feel better and look better.
